About
Dr. Bauer's Approach
Dr. Kelly Bauer is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who went to medical school at West Virginia University and trained at East Carolina University. She has worked in a variety of settings over the years and now has a private practice in Phoenixville, PA. Twelve years ago, following a 10-year period of extreme loss and grief, she was told she was at risk of losing her vision. She left medicine and the Bön Buddhist tradition found her. She began chanting mantras in Tibetan and playing gongs. These vibrational instruments, including her own voice, have helped her develop a more integrative approach to healing the self and she returned to the practice of medicine. In addition to medication management, she does individual psychotherapy which is based on object relations and influenced by her study of the Bön Buddhist tradition.

Dr. Bauer offers medication management services to ensure that patients receive the appropriate prescriptions and dosages to support their mental health.
